Famous Tollywood celebrates like Rana Daggubati, Regina Cassandra, Rakul Preet Singh, Nani, Lavanya Tripathi, Akhil Akkineni, Shriya etc, toiled hard a complete day to earn money. This money is earned for a cause. They donated the money wholeheartedly to poor families. This is a part of Manchu Lakshmi’s upcoming reality TV show “Memu Saitam”. Lakshmi Manchu says that she has had that idea for the last two years. She decided to do that show when she discussed her ideas with Shruti Shinde, her father’s friend Susheel Kumar Shinde’s daughter. Shruti Shinde has done similar television shows like “Mission Sapne”. Lakshmi recounted that it is a cake walk to bring celebs from the north to participate in these kinds of reality shows. To bring Tollywood celebrities was not so easy. She says that she had struggled really hard to gather stars. She expressed her sincere gratitude towards the people who have come to the show inspite of their busy schedule to participate in the show as it was for a social cause. Mohan Babu, Manchu Lakshmi’s father worked as a server to help a poor family. Rana Daggubati worked as a labourer and Nani worked as a mechanic. Regina Cassandra worked as a sales girl. Rakul Preet Singh donated a huge amount of Two Lakh Rupees to a family. The shoot went well, she said. She added that she had to face difficulty when people came with fake stories of misery in greed for money. Luckily they were able to spot them when they checked everybody’s background. She said that the show is emotional and inspiring. It would urge normal people to come forward to contribute to the society.
