Nia Sharma quits Jamai Raja: TV show ‘Jamai Raja’ is going in for a 20-year time leap. Now, Nia has finally confirmed that she is quitting the show because she did not want to grow old on screen.
Nia Sharma is an Indian television actress. Sharma played the role of Manvi in the soap opera Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Currently she is playing the female lead in soap opera Jamai Raja as Roshni.
Zee Tv’s popular show, ‘Jamai Raja’ has been going through massive changes over the past three months. Where the show was completely revamped for a second season with the entry of many new faces and also fresh introduction of the leads, Nia Sharma, actress Achint Kaur quit the show.
The show is going for a leap of 20 years and there will be no Roshni in it. Ravi Dubey, the male lead will essay the role of his own son.
she said, I am leaving the show and it’s entirely my decision,” she says, adding, “There is no animosity between the production house and me. I decided to quit the moment I heard about the leap without wanting to know about the future track. I don’t know what was in store for me, but I certainly didn’t want to age. I have been associated with the show right from its inception and feel it’s about time I moved on.
I now want to take up a female-centric show. The actress is not willing to take a break as she is addicted to a work routine and would love it as it continues. Nia is currently vacationing in Dubai and her social media page is full of her holiday’s pics.
Meanwhile, popular TV actress Mouli Ganguly, who featured in shows like “Kahin Kissi Roz” and “Suryaputra Karn”, is entered into the show and she is seen in a glamourous avatar.
