Udhayanidhi Stalin is now awaiting the release of his new movie ‘Gethu‘ which is directed by Thirukumaran. Earlier, many reports claimed that Udhayanidhi and Santhanam is not in a good rapport now, and that is why the producer actor casted Karunakaran in the role of comedian in this movie.
But things are now clarified, as Udhayanidhi has revealed the secret behind this in a recent talk with The Hindu.
“There were rumours of some differences between me and Santhanam, but there’s no truth to that. We’ve done a few films together, and he’s more than a co-star… he’s a close friend and brother for me. I just thought we could try something new. And I got his permission before going ahead with Karunakaran”, said Udhayanidhi.
Udhayanidhi also added that this film is so fast paced, and it will make you sit in the edge of the seats throughout the running time.
