After the big success of blockbuster hit Kaththi, Ilayathalapathy and Samantha teaming up for another blockbuster hit. The untitled Vijay-Samantha starrer is written and directed by Atlee. The movie also features Amy Jackson in the female lead. according to the latest news, Vijay 59 Ilayathalapathy Vijay in a dual role. Samantha has wrapped her parts for the film.

Vijay 59 is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and the background score and soundtrack is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by George C. Williams and editing is handled by Ruben while production designed by T. Muthuraj. The film expected to release in summer 2016.
