Velai Illa Pattathari 2 is now officially titled as “Thanga Magan”. the movie features Dhanush, Samantha, Amy Jackson, Radhika Sarathkumar and K S Ravikumar in the lead roles. Thanga Magan is written and directed by R Velraj and the movie is produced by Dhanush under the banner Wunderbar Films. the music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. the new title of VIP 2 has resumed the trend of having Superstar Rajinikanth’s old films titles for his son-in-laws films. such as “Polladhavan”, “Padikkadhavan” and “Mappillai”. Thanga Magan is a 1983 tamil film directed by A. Jagannathan, the movie features Superstar Rajinikanth and Poornima in the lead roles. The film was a success, mostly due to the popular songs and the excellent musical score of Ilaiyaraja.
