The film features Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, while Raai Laxmi, Sharad Kelkar, Brahmanandam, Ali, Krishna Bhagavan, Kabir Duhan Singh and Brahmaji amongst others form an ensemble cast . K. S. Ravindra’s debut film Power was a blockbuster hit, and the director aims to create a blockbuster through this Powerstar film.
The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the cinematography is handled by Arthur A. Wilson.
The official teaser of the film was released on March 16 2016, and it has been well received by both audiences and critics alike. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is scheduled for a worldwide release on 8 April 2016
