Bhojwani and Vikram Malhotra under the banners of T-Series, Hari Om Entertainment, Emmay Entertainment, Cape Of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment and distributed by Prateek Entertainment. the film features Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles.
The cinematography is handled by Priya Seth and edited by Hemanti Sarkar. The music for Airlift was composed by Amaal Mallik and Ankit Tiwari and the lyrics were written by Kumaar.
The film also features Feryna Wazheir, Lena and Purab Kohli in the supporting roles. The film is scheduled for release on 22 January 2016. The film is based on biggest evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war.
