Rab ne Bana di Jodi actress, Anushka Sharma is happy about the appreciation she is getting for her portrayal of Aarfa in Sultan making a stand despite the larger-than-life character played by Salman Khan.
“It’s really difficult to make the fans of Salman Khan say, ‘I am your fan too’. It is a big deal. He has loyal fans. All the 3 Khans have their bunch of loyalties. It feels special. I want my work to be appreciated and noticed too and for it to be happening in a film like Sultan along with Salman, a megastar, I feel elated,” Anushka said.

The actress feels more special because of the appreciation because she feels that she portrayed the most challenging role ever in the Ali Abbas Zafar’s film.

The actress shared that her ‘robot’ kind of work she has put in for transforming herself physically and the amount of hard work she has kept in for getting into the depth of the character of Aarfa has finally paid off.
“Sultan is my most challenging movie ever. It was kind of challenge to both my physical and emotional being. It wasn’t easy. I had to cope up with the maturity and emotions which I lack at present upto that level. Also, sport learning, I had to change my body language, type, I used to wake up early in the mornings, attend training, learn wrestling. I worked like a robot. This kind of appreciation I am getting from people is worth the hardwork I kept, I feel elated. All the love I am receiving is because of the movie, it’s special.” she said.

From Other Sources : A special screening was held for the tinsel town stars and Katrina Kaif was an attendee among the few. What’s more is that she was captured with the lead actress, Anushka. The two actresses have earlier worked together in the 2012 YRF release, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. An ardent fan of Salman’s work, it is said that Katrina loved the film and watched it two times.
