Kalabhavan Mani, one of most versatile actors in South India took his last breath on March 06, 2015. The death of the actor pulled everyone to a state of shock, as it was too unexpected, and he was just 45. According to postmortem reports, the actor was the victim of cirrhosis due to increased alcohol usage.
Many top personalities from Kollywood has expressed their condolences on the death of Kalabhavan Mani. Kamal Haasan, the Ulaganayagan tweeted that one more of his Malayalee brother has died of Cirrhosis. The actor also made a statement that Kalabhavan Mani is more talented than him.
“Respects to a great performer!A Good friend.Will cherish time spent with him! Rest In Peace sir”, posted Suriya in his official social media handle. Suriya and Kalabhavan Mani has worked together in two movies which includes ‘Vel’ and ‘Aaru’.
Madhavan remembered Kalabhavan Mani as a good human being and lovely actor. Celebrity couples, Sarath Kumar and Raadhika Sarathkumar too conveyed their condolences to Kalabhavan Mani’s family members.
Yesteryear beauty Simran told that Kalabhavan Mani is a very down to earth actor with loads of talent.
“The multi talented versatile actor Kalabhavan is no more. Starting off in comic roles, Mani went on to feature in lead, villain and character roles as well. My deepest condolences to his grieving family. What a loss to the Indian film Industry. May his soul rest in peace”, said Prashanth.
Earlier, Malayalam Mega Star Mammootty posted in his facebook page sharing his memories with Kalabhavan Mani. According to Mammootty, Kalabhavan Mani is more like a brother to him. Kalabhavan Mani’s close friend ‘Janapriyanayakan’ Dileep fainted in the hospital after seeing Mani’s dead body, and as a result, he did not take part in the cremation ceremony.
