Rohit Shetty’s much anticipated film “Dilwale” went on floors on Saturday, 21 March. The big-budget film has superhit pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol along with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

Excited over the first-day shoot, the “Badlapur” actor along with Shetty and other crew members posed for a group selfie. However, the picture didn’t have SRK and his leading lady Kajol. Khan is expected to join the cast soon after he wraps up Maneesh Sharma’s “Fan”.

Initially, there were rumours that the film is a remake of classic Hindi film “Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi”. However, the “Golmaal” series director clarified that it’s not a remake.

“I am the same person who’s doing the Ram Lakhan remake and I have announced it that way itself. Dilwale is not a remake at all. It’s an original script. If it was a remake, why would I hide it when I didn’t hide the same about Ram Lakhan?” Shetty told. Slated for release on 18 December 2015, the film will also bring back the hit Jodi of “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” to the silver screen.

With such great track records and huge star cast, “Dilwale” is expected to strike gold and rule the box office.
