Taapsee Pannu has turned entrepreneur. The actress ‘The Wedding Factory’, a marriage-organizing firm which she would be running along with her sister and a few friends.
Taapsee debuted in Tamil as Dhanush’s heroine in the national award winning Aadukalam which won several national awards. While Director Vetrimaaran won the national awards for ‘best screenplay’ and ‘best director’, Dhanush bagged the national award for ‘best actor’ for his role in the film. Late Kishore won the national award for ‘best editor’ while Dinesh Kumar won the national award for ‘best dance choreography’.
Despite such a colour beginning to her career in Kollywood, Taapsee didn’t enjoy a highly successful run in Tamil films. Besides Kanchana 2, she was also lucky to be part of Vai Raja Vai, directed by Aishwarya Dhanush and co-starring Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand. The back-to-back successes of Vai Raja Vai and Kanchana 2 have landed her a prominent role in Selvaraghavan’s Simbu-Catherine Tresa starrer Kaanagam.
Taapsee has just launched ‘Wedding Factory’, a firm which organizes marriages and takes care of everything in organizing a wedding. Let’s wish the lovely businesswoman all the successes in her new venture!
